Lumotrack rail systems explained | Print |

The Lumotrack rail systems is a modular 230 Vac system which consists of spots, rail segments and rail connector elements.

Three independent power circuits

The rails have four integrated wire tracks which provide in three independent power circuits
(3 phase).

When mounted the TR series spots can easily be switched to another circuit just by turning the track knob on the spot. With the three independent circuits and it is easy to create the right illumination and mood in your store or business.

Building a rail system

Before starting to build a rail system it is best to make a scaled drawing of the desired configuration and to use the following document to determine the required connector elements:
3 Phase track system

Straight rail segments - length and colour

The straight rail segments are available in standard lengths of  1, 2 and 3 metres and they can easily be cut to any desired length with a fine hacksaw.

The TR series spots, the rail segments and the connectors are available in three colours:

  • aluminium - grey
  • black
  • white

Mounting the rail

The rail system can be mounted directly on a ceiling by using the mounting brackets or it can be hung from a ceiling at any height by using the suspension wire and bracket set.

The TR4 and TR7 spots are specialy designed for the 3 phase Lumotrack rail system.

Click the Spot (1) in the lumotrack 3 phase rail (2) and turn the knob to the desired track (3).

Then turn the switch to the right to lock the spot (4) into the lumotrack 3 phase rail system.

Mounting third party spots

To connect any kind of 230 VAC lamp to the lumotrack system besides the Lumoluce® TR series spot there is a lamp adaptor available.
