Lumoluce acquired by retail lighting specialist Nualight

Lumoluce is a pioneer in LED lighting  and since 2006 the name Lumoluce has stood for quality and technical performance. Flagship projects such as Schiphol Airport and supermarket lighting programmes including Dirk van den Broek, Jumbo and Digros have driven the successful growth of our brand.

We are very pleased to announce that as of August 18th  2011 Lumoluce has been acquired by Nualight Ltd. This is a very positive move for Lumoluce, strengthening our product development team, enhancing our technical sales and customer service  systems and expanding the Lumoluce quality brand-name into new markets.

Nualight is a specialist in LED lighting for food retail with a strong track record of innovation and a unique design approach focused on achieving the highest retail performance for its customers. Nualight’s customers including many of the world’s leading retailers including Tesco, Migros, Tengelmann, Sainsburys and many more. Currently it has the broadest portfolio of LED case lighting solutions in the market.

With this acquisition, Nualight now offers full-store LED lighting solutions to its food retail customers. In the coming months, the new combined company will be releasing new high-performance LED accent lightingsolutions for food retail, with the same innovation and quality values that the industry has come to expect from Nualight.

Under the acquisition, the Lumoluce brand-name will continue to be strengthened in the marketplace with an enhanced focus on new product innovation, responsiveness and customer service.

Lumoluce at Schiphol Group "LED's find out!"

On 16 december 2010 Schiphol Group organised a theme day for its own staff called “LED’s find out!”. This day was all about LED lighting. Various questions were discussed, like: What do I need to know about LEDs to make a good choice? What sort of LED products can I buy to date? How is LED technology developing at the moment? Lumoluce, as a preferred LED supplier of Schiphol airport, was invited to give presentations and to show some of our LED products. Together with the company Innolumis, we had the opportunity to inform the Schiphol Group staff. The day turned out to be a big success!

  

New product names for downlighters

As of 17 January 2011 the downlighters in our product range will be named differently. This is decided in order to improve clarity and to better distinguish products from one another. The article code of the downlighters however, does not change.

Here are the old and the new product names:

L04165	Luan 3	-	DL-110/122
L04140	Lupe 1	-	Essenza 65/79
L04150	Lupe 2	-	Essenza 90/103

De numbers in the product name reflect the build in size and lamp diameter.

Lumoluce moved to new building

After spending many happy years in our old office, we moved to a bigger office due to lack of space. This provides us the possibility to continue our growth for the upcomming years.

Luxor LED spot with XPG LED

The Luxor LED spots are now equipped with Cree’s latest XPG LED chip. The light output has increased by 20 – 30 percent through this transition. The Luzern series is the next product line to step over. We expect to have the XPG Luzern series ready soon.

 

 

 

 

Lumoluce® wall mount LED spots - the elegant solution

 

A very elegant down or up lighting solution for walls. The Lugo wall mount LED spot is available in four different LED colours. Integration in the wall is very easy and can be performed during the wall construction phase but is also possible afterwards.

 

 

 

 

 

Lumoluce® LED strips - easy and professional shelf lighting

 

With the introduction of the LED strip it has become very easy to light shelves in a shop. The LED strips provide a very even lighting of products and the heat generation is very low. Therefore it is also ideal for illuminating cooled products. Probably the greatest advantage is that LED strips cut energy costs drastically.

 

 

 

 

Luzern LED plates – the all round LED solution

 

The Luzern series provide a large range of mounting plates - ranging from round plates to square and rectangular plates. The Luzern LED modules which are placed in the plates are available in three different colours of white. By choosing the right colour you can create a warm room atmosphere or, on the other hand, a clean and cool environment if desired. It’s up to you.

The Lumotech® drivers are highly efficient current sources for LED lights. We strongly recommend that all Lumoluce® LED lights are powered by Lumotech® drivers. The Lumotech® drivers are available for different power situations and can also provide dimming if desired.
